Sitka & Spruce

Located in the Melrose Market in Capitol Hill, the food at this small restaurant in phenomenal. We were able to sit at the long table which makes up half of the kitchen to get a front-row view of all the action.

Although the menu looks intimidating at first because the food seems so outside-the-box, Sitka & Spruce exceeded my already high expectations with every dish it put out. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting or living in Seattle!

They also bake the best sourdough outside of San Francisco. I picked up a round loaf on another occasion to pair with salami and cheese- almost felt like I was back at Tadich Grill with its crunchy exterior!
